Chinese Culture Camp

Note: We continue to incorporate adoption and Chinese culture themes into Camp Common Ground, and many adoptive families have fallen in love with Camp Common Ground. However, we haven't ruled out the possibility of revitalizing Chinese Culture Camp, and we'd love to hear your thoughts! Feel free to contact us.

Would you and your family like to learn more about Chinese culture?

Then join us for cultural fun in Vermont!

If so, the Chinese Culture Camp is the place for you. Families will get a chance to relax, make friends, participate in camp-type activities and learn more about China and its culture in our lovely valley nestled beneath the Hogback Mountains.

While most families who come to Chinese Culture Camp have adopted children from China, everyone is welcome.

This program is a balance of adult and kid programs. There are multiage activities as well and traditional camp fun like hiking, wading in the creek, swimming, and s’mores. Enjoy the lazy days of August and...

Practice tai chi, discuss a book, play Mah-Jongg, create shadow puppets, try your skill at Chinese brush painting, explore Chinese holidays, and much, much more!

“I expected a fun, relaxing weekend but had no idea how supportive an environment you’ve created. Thank you!”
Brucie ~ Rhode Island

“The decorations were really nice. But best of all was the staff…”

“Great variety of fun activities!”
