The cost of camp includes tent sites, meals, program fees and most materials.
While you are free to purchase items in the camp store, you will find
very little need to reach for your wallet during your week at camp.
In addition to the fees below there is also a non-refundable
$35 registration fee per family. If you wish to stay in a cabin an additional
fee applies.

Additional Fees for Indoor Accommodations
We have a variety of cabins from small 2-person cabins ($80) to a 6-person
cabin ($240). Several cabins are wheelchair accessible. If you are willing
to share cabin space, the cost to you would be $40 per single bed ($80
for doubles or Queen-size) per week. If you want your own private cabin,
you must pay for all the beds in the cabin, regardless of how many you
use.
Most cabin space is assigned on a first come, first served basis, but
we do consider special needs in assigning cabin space. For more details
about our cabins, please visit the cabin page
or call the office at 802-453-2592.
Deposits, Payments and Cancellations
In order to hold a space for you and your family, we must receive with
this registration form and payment. If you are unable to pay in full at
this time, you may pay 25% of your total with the balance due June 1st.
The deposit (less the $35 registration fee) is refundable until April
15th. You may pay in full now or the balance is due June 1st. Should you
cancel between April 16th and June 1st, we will refund all payments less
15% of your total bill. After June 1st there will be no refunds of any
payments as it becomes increasingly difficult to fill the space that we
have reserved for you.
Community Service
Community Service has always been an important part of the CGC experience
and will be a part of all programs this summer. Through working and playing
together we build community at CGC. By sharing the work, we also
make our camp a more affordable experience for everyone. All campers
are required to sign up to help in the kitchen, bathrooms or around the
site for 5 hours each week. Younger campers will work with their
peers and youth leaders to complete their community service tasks.
More details on community service will be available in the camper packet.
Camperships
We offer financial assistance in the form of partial scholarships to both
campers and staff families. In order to be considered for financial aid,
you must contact the office and register for one of our
programs by sending in your registration form and your deposit. Campership
applications are due by April 16th. The demand for aid often exceeds our
resources, so apply early.
A letter advising you of your Campership award will be sent to you by
May 15th. If you do not receive enough money to make camp possible for
your family, please notify our office immediately and your registration
fee and deposit will be refunded.
Campership Fund
Camp Common Ground raises funds for scholarships through an annual appeal
to campers and other individuals. The demand for aid usually exceeds available
funds. If you can, please make a donation to our Campership Fund with
your registration. Your contribution will help a family who could not
otherwise afford to enjoy a week at CCG! It will also enrich the camp
experience for everyone by helping to create a more diverse community.
Thanks in advance for your generosity!
